Well for once we will not face Coastal. we drew Clemson in the first round. One plus is its a home game. On the down side, somehow they have us playing into the #1 seed UCLA

Great win tonight. One of the best Elon sporting events I have been to in my 18 years following Elon athletics. Huge crowd, great atmosphere and a great game. Really a special night.
Congrats to the team and maybe they can shock some folks in LA.
Go Phoenix!

Same here, 99. Brought a friend along and he's already talking about coming to some games next season. Found the "NCAA prohibits field storming" announcements rather funny. Yeah, like we were going to cooperate.

And if fans do, the school could receive a hefty fine and jeopardize future hosting chances.

topher99, is that just NCAA postseason or does that include reg season and conf tourney? Hate to see the school loose out on future host chances. The NCAA should realize the atmosphere is a little difference in a shootout win. On the other hand the yellow jackets I saw on the sideline in the feed seem to do little to nothing to stop the flood. Was this the security we had? With that said Im all for a good field storm. the NCAA can kiss by backside

In the past eight years this ranks with the Richmond playoff game and the South Carolina and Davidson basketball games at Alumni as the best crowds and atmosphere I have witnessed at Elon. Great win for the Soccer team and with our team speed, maybe a surprise in the making.

Powell has done a great job and the last three seasons just show how good a job. Good luck against UCLA Phoenix Soccer!!!

Thanks.....forgot about that one but the App St. games at Rhodes, espc. 2009 have been great. Hoping for some more memories this basketball season with a conference championship and NCAA bid. If it is on, will be watching the soccer team against UCLA even if it is at 11pm Sunday night.

Agreed, great season! I tried to follow on the audio broadcast, but it was terrible so I just followed via live stats. Looked like shots were pretty even, but every sog UCLA seemed to score on. Nothing wrong with losing to the #1 team in the country though and there are a lot of players coming back next year that can keep the program trending upward. Powell has done a spectacular job. Hopefully elon can hang on to him for a long time.
Go Phoenix!
