Elon earned the #4 seed and opens play on Saturday, March 8, against #5 Western Carolina at 2:30 p.m. in Asheville. Phoenix will likely have to beat Western, Davidson and either UTC/Wofford to win it all.

Ugh, thank god I didn't drive up there for that mess. The team simply quit the final 10 minutes. Not fighting through screens like they did earlier in the game. Dominated on the boards and not hitting free throws. Credit to WCU for hitting shots to get back in it.
Simply a disappointing season any way you look at it. They would have likely lost to Davidson tomorrow, but the inability to stem the tide today was frustrating.

So much for our senior leadership.
This season was a huge disappointment. No other way to describe it. This team regressed.

I wasn't as disappointed as some with the regular season and thought the team might still have a run in them, but now I can admit that this was a disappointment to bow out in the quarters to Weatern.
