With Signing Day fast approaching, I thought it would be interesting to get your perspectives on what areas should be the main recruiting focal points for Skrosky and the staff. Don't get into individual recruit discussions, but what do you consider the primary needs that must be addressed?

Well this is my opinion but I will list in strength of groups Strongest to weakest or the most needy it's a balance of quality vs quantity but here goes: 1 Defensive backs lot's of returning players where they will play Spring should Tell 2 Offensive Line even with losses this group is seasoned and new folks coming in off redshirts could be impactful 3 Kicking game returning punter and kicker need a good snapper lost to graduation 4 Running backs We have a lot of injured guys returning still need a dynamic threat if not by committee 5 linebackers We have a group in place and new guys could make an impact plus special teams coverage are pretty much where you get impactful players really need to build depth a lot of times Safeties that bulk/ grow into outstanding lb's 6 Tight Ends We have numbers here and I might have listed this group higher but positional impact has just not been good I hope our new guys can block and catch the ball on paper this group looks strong in height and weight but stats show key drops 7 DL We just have to be stronger here to develop a winning program must get stronger and have key returners but need to get more bodies out there. 8 Quarterbacks 2 frosh going for the top job should be a competitive spring practice, not sure if they are a running threat at this level ...who is the practice team QB oh We are not in soCon anymore. 9 Wide outs and Slot receivers not a lot left on the roster and not sure what is coming in Funny in just a few seasons these areas could have flip flopped such is life w/ 63 Scholarships I think everyone currently on the roster has a good chance to earn playing time if they put in the work to improve

Speaking purely from an offensive perspective MO is that a big, strong OL with good feet, one WR that knows how to get open and can CATCH THE BALL, a decent RB that has good balance & isn't tripped up easily, and a decent QB will win conference championships. But it all starts with a great OL. Want a couple of examples? How about New Hampshire or Ohio State. Both lost starting QBs but still kicked butt. GOTTA have the #1 OL to have the #1 offense.
Obviously got to have a good defense too, for championships.

Hate to keep harping on this, but we all were down on Quinn last season, but after the first couple of games when BJ got injured and the receivers forgot how to catch the ball, and Quinn was running for his life on every snap? With a decent RB, a solid OL and one healthy WR that could get open and catch, Quinn would've been called the best at Elon after Riddle.

So Whoa, give me your thoughts on an OL 2deep. I think Spring ball there will have to be some adjustments all along the front w/ our losses. On the other hand We have experience and coaches should know strengths and weaknesses on these guys, We have some height but really not too many Hog types. I think they could all get stronger and develop some meanness some seem to be interchangeable but We have to have some type of rushing game. Now just maybe We can get at winning again is really all I care about. These players deserve it.
