Well, we are a handful of days away from the start of camp. What are your expectations?
I'll list mine: Faster, deeper, more dynamic receiving corps. More healthy RBs with strength. Mobile QB. As a result of those three, the offense will be significantly different from last year.

What record does everyone consider a successful season? Based off last season, I'd be pleased with 3-8 (2-6 CAA).
G-W, A&T and Towson look like the best chances for wins, but even those Elon will be the underdog. Maybe can sneak up on a few other teams.
The running game should be vastly improved with Bennett back and some help for Coppedge.
Go Phoenix!

I can't get my head around the term "successful" and what the best reasonable win/loss record we can expect may be. I think we are probably 2-3 seasons away from anything that could be reasonably be called "successful". A season to be excited about would be 5-6 with wins at A&T, GWU, Towson, Stony Brook and Delaware. Anything less than 3-8 will be a disappointment.

Last year's team was in the game with 5 of their losses (NC A&T, Delaware, Towson, W&M & Maine).
With a totally new QB at the helm, I'm not sure what to expect, but I'm excited about the 2 who seem to be front runners. I wouldn't say 5 wins is out of the realm of possibility, but I think 3 is more realistic at this point.

I believe Adam Smith's interview with Coach Rich is going to reveal a lot. I will comment on that when it is published. I am always optimistic especially in off/ pre-season times. But to keep it real when your coming off a 10 loss season it cannot get any worse. This program is only going to get better win & loss wise is when talent level improves. They may be on the roster, they may have been mired on the depth chart or have just been recruited or been invited in as a walk-on. Or coming off an injury. I can see the school is investing in a staff of coaches that can develop players. I hope there are some play-makers among them. We are really in need to be able to match-up on the lines both offense and defense. almost 50 first year players counting red-shirts speak volumes as a complete rebuild.
