With camp starting in three days and the first games a month away, I just wanted to see what everyone's predictions were game by game?
Obviously, everyone is aware that Elon was picked to finish last in the preseason CAA polls. Reiterating what a few players and Coach Skrosky said, they didn't really show them much last season, to rank them any higher this season.
But we all know that these preseason polls never look the same at the end of the season.
Below is my predictions with a few comments on how I think this season will go right now. My opinion could/should change as the season goes along.
Thu, Sept 3

Wake Forest (L) I just hope that all players come out healthy and no key players/veteran players are lost for the season due to injury (56-10)
PS - On a side note, I think Elon will have the better uniforms on this night

Gardner-Webb (W) I think Elon has the strength, speed and athleticism to pull this one out. (28-17)
Sat, Sept 19 (W) I think that after two years of playing them close, Elon will finally get the win this year (21-13)
vs
NC A&T
Sat, Sept 26 (L) I think it will be a close game, but Towson will squeak by (28-24)
vs
Towson
Sat, Oct 3
@
UNH (L) UNH will be tough at home, plus they are one of top three teams in preseason poll (35-17)
Sat, Oct 10
@
Richmond (L) Elon will keep it close put Richmond will eventually pull it out (27-17)
Sat, Oct 17
vs
JMU (L) JMU will be the toughest team Elon has faced in FCS play this season. Will be close at first, but JMU will take control (38-14)
Sat, Oct 31
@
Stony Brook (W) Elon will be messing together by this time and will get their first CAA victory in school history (28-17)
Sat, Nov 7
vs
William & Mary (L) Coming off their first CAA victory, Elon will want to get two in a row but W&M will pull it out (27-17)
Sat, Nov 14
@
Maine (W) Still playing good ball, Elon will get their second CAA victory over Maine (31-21)
Sat, Nov 21
vs
Delaware (W) Finishing the season strong, Elon will end their second CAA season on a winning streaking, having won two CAA games in a row (28-13)
I believe that Elon can finish the season with a record of 5-6. Again, this is just preseason predictions and things can either change for the better or fro the worse.
