So let's start some discussion about the game this weekend. After a bye week, the team had time to rest and get refocused.
I'm going to go ahead and tell you, Elon WILL win this weekend. I'm not one for making game predictions, but the last time I did for football, Elon pulled an upset over a top 25 Furman team.

If Elon plays with the same effort as the A&T and Towson games we will certainly have the opportunity for a win. All other things being equal, I'll also predict a win if we eliminate TOs.

With a win this weekend we could end in a 3 way tie for 9th. Seems a little unfair with the schedule, Stony Brooks final games are Elon, Albany, RI. Im just hoping we don't finish dead last in the Conf.

This is our best chance for a win the rest of the season. How we come out for this game will tell us a lot about the coaching staff and team mindset for the 4 game mini-season. We can still end this season on a positive note with 2 out 4 wins (3 would be excellent). That would be progress from last season. Elon 17 SB 13. Go Phoenix.

First halftime lead since November 2013. So far so good.

Good win. Very nice work by the secondary. Receiver drops went away and we actually saw them fight for balls. Summers needs to keep the ball off the ground, but he's a solid runner.
Better play calling.
Not perfect by any means, but a solid win.

I would definitely call that progress. Certainly not perfection, but definitely progress.

Very good win. D was really good and the O did enough. CC provided a spark off the the bench to get the O moving.

several positives to take away with this win. All TD's were big play time type plays and defense 4 ints and 4th down stops always nice to get a win after refocused on rest of the season

No doubt in my mind this was going to be a win, as the original post stated. I was able to watch it on TV. Though he had a turnover on a bad zone read, I really think CC should be at the helm. The offense looked different with him in the game, much more commanding. I also think summers need to be starting, but I'm an a chair coach anyway Defense, man those guys looked good overall. Looked like the same D we saw earlier in the season! Best news, road wins in this league are hard to come by, and I'm sure the team is feeling great right now!

But for a couple of bad penalties, the score would likely have been 34-7. Slowly but surely.

Really happy about the win. We'll take them anyway we can get them.
* The D played great today. Those INTs saved us. Great effort.
* I'm tired of the QB carousel. Stick with one of the. Please!
* if you take away Summers TD run, we had 28 yards on 27 carries. Not going to cut it.
Happy to get win #3. However, I still do not see much improvement on offense. Anyone who thinks we are better on O is blind. Our play-calling is predictable and there is no explosive run game - we had one good run. Thankfully, it came when we needed it most.
It was not pretty. I will take it. Happy for the kids.

If DT and CC could step up for each other when one is slumping, it would be a real benefit for the team
