Delaware has the worst passing offense in FCS, average 66 yards per game, but has the 15th ranked rushing offense.
Going to be an interesting game. Tough to read.
I saw this comment on the AGS board "Not to mention, Elon has actually ended up having a solid year and most likely will be the reason why Towson has no chance to make the playoffs."

I so wish I could be. Would love to send off the seniors but life takes me elsewhere. Hopefully I'll be able to catch the live video.

HONORING THE SENIORS Prior to Saturday’s game with Delaware, Elon will honor a 20-member senior class for all that they have given the program over the course of their careers. Those players are: • OL Gordon Acha (Duxbury, Mass.) • OL Ty Alt (Sewickley, Pa.) • LS Matt Arnholt (Miami, Fla.) • RB B.J. Bennett (West Columbia, S.C.) • RB Tracey Coppedge (Nashville, N.C.) • LB/DL Alexander Dawson (Haw River, N.C.) • DL Tyler Drake (Annapolis, Md.) • DB Jeremy Gloston (Orlando, Fla.) • OL Jacob Ingle (Burlington, N.C.) • DL Chris Jones (Fayetteville, N.C.) • DB Julius Moore (Chesterfield, Va.) • RB Thuc Phan (Greensboro, N.C.) • LB Javaris Seastrunk (Crestview, Fla.) • WR Lichota Seidewand (Chatham, Mass.) • DL Rob Sullivan (Scottsdale, Ariz.) • TE Jesse Tate (Toms River, N.J.) • TE Doug Warrick (Hamilton, N.J.) • DL Mike Warren (Jacksonville, N.C.) • DB Miles Williams (Roebuck, S.C.) • DL Marquise Wright (Englewood, N.J.)

noon kickoff I will be there, who is with me? I will be there, too. Really looking forward to it.I haven't seen the team play live since Richmond game. They appear to have made good strides since then, especially CC and the receivers. Students will be out on break and it would be great if Elon did a major give away of tickets to employees, local schools and businesses. I live in RTP and have seen Duke do major last minute promotions($5 tix) just about every home game to help spur attendance.

Elon scores first. 7-0 light crowd. Elon moving the ball well in the air. One qb mistake with a fumble

It would be helpful if CC would learn to throw the ball out of bounds.

Explain to me why, in the 2 minute offense, we try to run. And we haven't been able to run all day.

I wanted to know the same thing. They had trouble stopping the pass but killed us on the run D. I think we ran it way too much. Their O line was massive

Very winnable game. Team played really welL. Coaching decisions lost this game.
- CC throws a pick in 3rd quarter and gets immediately yanked. First play for DT, the infamous bubble screen. (Great play to call with QB who has had zero time to warm up, it showed). After 2 series and another interception, CC returns. MAKES ZERO SENSE!!! Both kids are looking over their shoulder with little confidence.
- 4th & 8 at midfield we go for it & fail with 10+ minutes left. we have the best punter in the conference, great opportunity to pin them down and allow the defense to deliver again + give the offense better field position.
I could go on....
give the players alot of credit. Brutally tough year and they played their hearts out.

My view from the sidelines as well on TV this offense has struggled and been out of sync all season. Even the scoring drives We really do not have a great execution. like scratching your fingernails on a chalkboard

Agree, Nellie. We saw flashes of great things but there consistently seemed to appear something that caused de-syncing. The last couple drives Saturday exemplified that pretty well. An attempt or two to run disrupted rhythm. A holding penalty killed the last drive. I choose to believe this is because of the youth of the offense (and some questionable play calling). It seemed like we were watching a newborn colt trying to walk. Give it a little time and I think we will see this colt run and gallop. Call me an optimist.

I could go on.... give the players alot of credit. Brutally tough year and they played their hearts out. Brutally tough year on and off the field. I think the missing ingredient Saturday was the missed practice on Thursday. HOWEVER, I think it was well worth it and I wouldn't have had it any other way. I was impressed with Delaware and their #10 towels. Really looking forward to next year. Lots & lots to build on. We're losing some important D lineman and DBs but but we had a really good 2 deep there this year. The rest is looking up. Lots of returning players, esp on offense. IMO, we need to change up the bubble screen until there is a better blocking scheme. It works for some teams but its usually a surprise play, we run it too much. and the blocking isn't quite there. That is such a quick play the QB doesn't need tons of protection, it seems we should split out another WR to block. Hoping that next year brings a choice in QB. There should be enough information to make a decision or get someone else in the off season. Sounds like I still b!tching. I am sincerely proud of this team for hanging in there I playing to the last minute of every game and for the hard work they put in towards improving. I hope the players have a very restful holiday season. They deserve it. Sincerely looking forward to watching them progress in the off season.
