QB 1 is back and looks strong. Good to see him run the ball some. He and Kortez picked up where they left off last year. Run game was nice. The o line held up nicely. Still really need to get everyone healthy.
Cole had a great interception. The defense played well and was trying to strip the ball every moment they could. Greene looked good in his new position. He seemed comfortable.
Skyler and Hunter made some nice connections with the ball as well.

some additional thoughts from Sunday scrimmage, 1 We have continuity on both sides of the football. experience even practice time at game speed is always beneficial. 2 On defense We looked loaded and maybe 3 deep in some quality positions. keeping guys fresh and in the lineup no doubt has to be a priority. 3 offense with Cheek at QB looks smooth and timing footwork are there. Baughman at QB gives the run / pass option a true option. He is better thrower less hitch in his giddy up. RB's are 3 3 deep and if the OL can gel in the run and pass. Is a big "IF" and biggest priority. The big dudes have to get it done. 4 Lance Stephenson punter, booming 50 yarders with hang time. our over-all speed looks good with playmakers ready to make plays.

several articles and twitter/ F/B posts, The last team scrimmage is this Wednesday evening so the depth chart is firming up IMHO I believe We are a deeper team meaning We have talent throughout our roster. We may NOT have that big "Super-Star" for the SID to pump up. I think it may be a good thing to be balanced in all areas. We shall see.

What “less hitch in his giddy up” mean?

What “less hitch in his giddy up” mean? #3 much improved in his reads are faster and more instinctive releasing the football to his receivers, just an improvement in getting caught up with the speed of the game. does not hold on to the ball as much as his practice year.

Nellie, How does the OLine look?

OLine looked rough today. Lots of people in the backfield and no push during run plays. Center is a real problem for us. Cerimele and Purcell both had some bad snaps today.
Run game just wasn't there. Seemed like the dline played really well, and the OLine didn't. Pass game was good in spots. There were a couple of missed throws, one by each QB 1 and 2. I liked what I saw from them in general though. There were some good catches by Kortez, Avery Jones, and Bryson Daughtry.
Special teams was interesting. Kicking was great from Skyler. Owen Johnson actually seemed to be the better kickoff kicker than Christian by a hair. Hunter the Punter was stellar.
Our offense really is a question mark. Cheek will be good, and Thomas and Kortez will be good, but our OLine just worries me.

I think I may posts comments on the members only Tab, that being said I observed several OL's players were not dressed mainly precautionary or just minor dings. There are leaders on the OL but the 1's are going against our D 1's and the D looks pretty darn solid with a lot of speed. Watching #4 Jalen Green adopt to CB appears to look seamless. THe OL has and will always be a project but We have some guys that CAN do it. We may have to start a prayer chain...
