Looks like the CAA has put out the conference schedule for the spring season. Split into North & South, but they are uneven. So the North is 7 teams (Albany, Delaware, Maine, New Hampshire, Rhode Island, Stony Brook and Villanova), all playing each other once and the South is 4 teams playing home & home series. A total of 6 games each, but kinda add the way they chose to do it.
I get it with the idea being to limit travel, but seems like they could've thrown Villanova or Delaware into the south to even it up a bit. Maine to Delaware or vice versa is a pretty far trip. Maybe in the end the split of one set of teams playing a true round robin and one set playing home and home made more sense to the powers that be. I think that I would have voted for no divisions and just playing 6 of the other 10 teams with some level of keeping it limited to closer opponents taken into account - i.e. we wouldn't be playing Maine/UNH.
