Rebecca was great. Would have loved to hear more from her though. Maybe that will happen this week with some better weather!

Another great win. This team seems to have an “it” factor right now. For some reason I can’t help but be nervous for Towson next week. Seems like a trap game for us coming off three emotional wins. Hope Tony can work his magic and keep the team focused.
Also, are bye weeks a thing of the past? Surprised looking through the schedule we don’t have one this year.

The bye is the last week. Also, are bye weeks a thing of the past? Surprised looking through the schedule we don’t have one this year.

This has been a great month for Elon football. Feels good to have something to be excited about again. The defense continues to play really well and keep us in these games and have been really impressed with how composed McKay stays in clutch situations. We do have to stop shooting ourselves in the foot with penalties. These close games won't always swing our way.
As for being worried about Towson...I'll be worried about every game remaining on the schedule. We haven't had enough success as a program recently to feel overly confident. Trisciani said something to the effect of trying to go 1-0 each week. A bit cliche, but the right approach. Beating Richmond or W&M means nothing next Saturday. The road trip to the northeast two weeks in a row won't be easy either.
On a side note, with Campbell joining next year, we'll likely be playing CU and A&T every year, but I hope the conference keeps W&M and Richmond as permanent opponents on the schedule. I feel like we're starting to build some rivalries and they are always good games.
Go Phoenix!
