7:00 into the second half, and NE absolutely shooting lights out. 60% on both FG and 3FG. Rare to see that this late in the game

This game was truly frustrating. 1-6 from the line, the foul on LA at the end, blew their chances. I was afraid of this, but it’s the ebbs and flows of this team. Beat two teams in the top half and then get brought back to Earth by a team near the bottom.

Incredible comeback in 2nd half and then to lose it like that. Have to be smarter in those situations.
Campbell loses to Hampton too. It was there for the taking.
Still 3 more games, but you have to capitalize in these games.
Go Phoenix!

Once again, I understand frustration with the losses but this one really bothers me because of our nine conference we have this year, we have lost twice to Campbell, twice to Northeastern, and once to William and Mary. I can take losses to teams that are just simply better than us, but none of these teams are and we just have not produced at all.
The guys have to bounce back Saturday and I think they are capable but a big missed opportunity.

1-6 from the foul line. I don’t care what the season stats say, we are a LOUSY free throw shooting team. Have been from day one. Lost us the game

I knew Elon was going to immediately foul. During timeout I was thinking that if I was NE as soon as I touched the ball I would shoot it. That is exactly what they did and it worked. They get the foul and 3 free throws. Pratt had enough space to see NE was shooting a 3. As deep as he was had he pulled back they miss that shot most likely and hopefully we rebound and secure the win. Should of, Would of ,Could of....I Know! Very frustrating. Going 1-6 from the line definitely cost us the game. Most of those the front end of one and ones. Campbell loses which may be the only saving grace. Hofstra going to be a difficult game and most likely a loss. We would have to win out after that and have a lot of help to avoid bottom 4. Monmouth is a decent team this year so no guarantee that will be a win. Seeing I will be in DC then perhaps the only good news is Elon has a decent chance of winning the Friday game and I have the opportunity to see them play at least two games in the tournament. So disappointing - a win last night would of been huge.

Make no mistake, Cohen beat our a$$es. He knows what we've got and knows how to circumnavigate it. Plus, we have appeared afraid and anxious in the first halves of both NE games this year. 25 points in the first half of the first game, 26 in the first half of the second. We kicked butt in the second halves of both games. I have no understanding of why this happened. I will say, I think Cohen is the best at coaching in the CAA maybe not the #1 recruiter, but the most effective coach.
