Report from the WCU Game....EU99 were you there?

Does anyone have a report from tonight's game?

I did make it to the game. I missed some of the first half because I was late getting out of the office, but what I did catch of the first half was bad. WCU's defense had our guys bogged down and unable to score. The second half was a completely different story, which the box score should show. Long picked apart the WCU defense the entire second half and the big men were able to get some easy buckets thanks to a number of nice assists from Long. Monty Sanders had a great game. He's got nice short range jumper and he nailed a three as the shot clock expired that got the crowd pumped. I'm more and more impressed by Ola every time I see him play. He has come along way since his freshman year and he hits his free throw shots!!!! Grable and James seem to still be in a funk, but I think both of them have had some injuries. I'm sure they'll get things turned around.

I will say this team has far exceeded my expectations so far. I'm excited to see if they can keep the momentum going. Long is the real deal and he should be fun to watch the next few years. Good game all around and this team should be proud of the way they rebounded from what was a bad first half.
