Jeff Yurk Back?

Am I the only one who missed Jeff Yurk returning to Elon? I don’t think he punted once for Pitt last season. That had to have been an awful experience. It does say alot for Elon’s program however that Yurk wanted to come back. And hats off to TT for not holding a grudge. Win-win!
Elon has always had good kicking and punting, stretching all the way back to Lembo. I think we are continuing the trend.

Apparently, Yurk left Pitt as soon as he didn’t get the starting position after training camp, never dressed for one game there, and has been around Elon since the Fall. I think him rejoining the team was why Romenick left.

As I remember, The W&M game. He almost got benched in the first half. Then in the second half, with Brayboy's help, he wound up getting CAA special teams player of the week. Consistency will be his friend this season.
