After last week's disastrous outing, can the Phoenix come back and compete in CAA? UAlbany has developed a good program and now plays with passion and purpose. Danes' stats are comparable to Elon's, except W-L. This is a winnable game, but again, without some major changes, we face another trying Saturday.
I wouldn't be opposed to giving Lankford a shot, but depth chart shows Salopek or Downing. I notice Dieke is not on the depth chart today. Is he injured?
Go, Phoenix!

We have the same old coaches calling the same old plays. I'm hoping for a win against U Albany, but I'm, unfortunately, not expecting one.
I'm watching IU kick Nebraska's a$$ 28-7 in the first half. As I watched I wondered "did our current coaching staff learn anything from Cignetti?" Apparently not. Ahead of Nebraska by 21, with a score of 28 and 25 seconds left in the half, Cignetti aggressively went for another score. Our staff would rather chase their tails running ridiculous plays and wait for the second half. Say what you like about Cignetti, but he had 1 year with Saban. He learned all he could, perfected and in some cases improved upon what he learned. Our coaches... well nothing really needs to be said here.

The mere fact we had Cignetti for two years is a miracle. Indiana will not be his last stop..trust me. Kinda nice however that we essentially rescued him from D2. With his age and gruffness, D1 schools weren’t exactly banging down his door.

Congratulations to the team on a timely win. The win comes largely courtesy of Brayboy & the kickoff return team along with the defense. They were the difference makers. Thomas had a very good day rushing as well, congrats to him. He made a lot out of very little.

Win is a win. Passing game didn’t make the trip to Albany however. Brayboy should be getting a shout-out on ESPN for his two kickoff TD’s. That was awesome!

Thrilled by the win! This is the Brayboy I was hoping to see this season. Also, glad to see Hardy get a couple of key receptions. Hope we'll continue to utilize TEs.
Great day rushing for Thomas and for the team. I'm not crazy about the QB rotation; neither can get in a rhythm with the switching, and no apparent reason for the switching.
We're still having a problem with the personal fouls and unsportsmanlike conduct, 30 yards in penalties on one play--this is a coaching issue.
Go, Phoenix!

Glad to see them get the win. The defense has been the bright spot the past two weeks. Brayboy came through big this week as well. Many of the same problems still persist, but hopefully this will create some momentum for the remainder of the season.
Go Phoenix!
