Furman is gonna be VERY hard. They are top 15. They are as dominate as UNCG was the last few years. They have solid forwards, but their keeper is easily the best in the league.

Elon Soccer Picks Up SoCon Win at Wofford 10/20/2007
SPARTANBURG, S.C. -- The Elon Phoenix men's soccer squad picked up a 4-1 decision on the road at Southern Conference rival Wofford on Saturday evening from Snyder Field in Spartanburg, S.C. The Phoenix netted three second half goals to break a 1-1 halftime tie with the Terriers.
The Phoenix (7-3-4, 4-1-0 SoCon) capitalized in the second half when Aaron Parker sliced through the Wofford (4-9-1, 0-5-0 SoCon) defense before feeding Daniel Street along the left flank. Street then found a wide-open Justin Wyatt standing at the far post and Wyatt used his chest to redirect the pass and score the game winner at 52:14. The tally was Wyatt's team-leading eighth of the campaign.
Elon grabbed an early lead when, at 7:27, Stephen Miller found the back of the net for the first time this season on a crossing pass he received from Andrew Johnson, who was fed the ball by Alex Barake. Barake nearly put the Phoenix on top early in the second half, but his hard attempt was tipped high by a leaping Joey Taylor. On the ensuing corner kick, Street sent a bending ball near the net, which was saved off the line by a Terrier defense.
Freshman Armin Kinigander netted his second goal of the season at 38:37 when he received passes from senior Kyle Walker and classmate Kentrel Owens before firing his shot to the lower left corner past Phoenix goalkeeper Clint Irwin to knot the score at 1-1.
The visitors tallied their next score of the game at 70:06 when Brett Paschall found the back of the net from 20 yards out after receiving the ball on an attempted punch-out clearing by Taylor following an Elon corner kick. Paschall then added his second with 13:48 remaining, at 76:12, on a penalty kick following a Terrier foul inside the 18-yard box. Paschall now has six goals on the year.
The Phoenix finished with a 15-6 advantage on shots and a 13-1 edge on corner kicks. Irwin turned away two shots while Taylor stopped five attempts. "I thought that our team played well tonight," said Elon head coach Darren Powell. "Our speed of play increased in the second half and that alowed us to go on and win the game against a well organized and hard-working Wofford team. Now we'll get ready for Winthrop on Wednesday night." Elon returns to Rudd Field for a non-league contest with Winthrop at 7 p.m. on Wednesday night.
