Richmond fan here. We are looking forward to a great game against Elon this Saturday. It should be a hard fought contest. Feel free to visit us at Spidernation.com.

Welcome I am interested to see which Elon Team shows up this weekend. We have proved we can beat a top 10, yet loose to a BS team.

I'm afraid Lauletta (sp?) will have his way with our D. Also afraid the powerful UR D will have its way with our O. I don't see this as being a good homecoming for the team. Homecoming should have been one of the next 3 home games.

Richmond shut out Villanova. Not a good thing to be looking at as we head into the game Saturday.
If we keep it under a 21 point loss. I'll be happy.
It could get ugly.

This game has all the makings to be a be a big blowout.....on the same lines as the homecoming game against JMU last year. Shutting out 'Nova isn't an easy task, and Richmond held them to 222 total yards. Jump back just a few weeks ago....Elon gave up 557 to the same team.
The offense has to get it in gear, from the 1st snap.

Would love to see it competitive, but for us to have a shot means Richmond needs to make all sorts of mistakes. Won't happen. 35-0 at half-time at least, less than 75 yards at half-time. That's my prediction.

I guess I can spill the beans. Lauletta tends to throw a number of 50-50 passes per game. Only one or two are intercepted. Albany figured that out last year. They used the same strategy this year. If your DBs are good, Lauletta will have a tough game.

Half of UR's defense and all of its defensive backfield are out for the season. The coach is not certain what to do about it.

UR's top 2 RBs are also out for the season.

Elon is coming off a bye week. UR'S bye week is next week. Just a few weeks ago Elon manhandled W&M. In two weeks, UR plays JMU. Expect this to be an exciting game.

UR was taken apart by Stony Brook, in a game very similar to this one.

How is it that Elon destroyed W&M? The Indians are a very good football team.
