I thought our pass blocking was very good. I felt that Cole Taylor, Jeramiah Bridges and Josh Ramseur were pretty good route runners with average hands. They dropped balls at the most inopportune times, but I think we've got something to work with there. Our running backs are average, but could be better with better run blocking. QB is the huge challenge. So I will go so far as to say the results of our offense were absolutely miserable, But I do think we have something to work with. We will absolutely need a better QB however. The same QB will likely give us the same results next year. Huh!!!! Catching balls at inopportune times is MOST IMPORTANT at any level of WR! Huh!!!! Anyone can catch balls without pressure! Running backs better with better run blocking...of course they would be...what's your point! I agree with QB situation tho! Other points contradict themselves. Point blank our offense wasn't good at D1 FCS level in any conference! No need to sugar coat the obvious! Not being critical just stating what statistics revealed.

I feel ya. My point that Cignetti has something to work with. We are not completely without potential.

All Coach Cignetti has to do is play experienced players and allow young talent to learn, adjust and grow into D1 FCS players. Something Old staff didn't understand. We consistently played young players each year against seasoned experienced players in CAA. Only consistent position players were our DB's and that was somewhat affected last season due to injury. We were consistently young each season during Skrosky era. Experienced players benched and recruits started. THAT HAS TO STOP! Trust your recruits and allow them to grow!

Our biggest losses in personnel were in the kicking game so We have to be strong there both punting and place kicking. Also LB Silas in the middle. One thing about a new set of eyes that Cignetti will have is that everyone will get a fresh canvass to show the new coaches where they can help this team back to winning ways. New commit looks better every day.
