Skrosky will not fire riebock. He hired him at Ball State and brought him to Elon along with Riesert and Maddon. No way will that happen. He may make Riebock the full time recruting coordinator but he will not fire him. Completely agree. Especially with Riebock and his wife expecting their first shortly. Skrosky too decent a human to eject someone in that situation. Wouldn't stun me to see Riebock in a different role, and recruiting director would suit him well.

Playing lots of freshmen is a dual edged sword: (+) The get a lot of experience. (-) They learn how to lose very well.

Another underrated point... A number of the assistants are young and were GAs prior to arriving at Elon.
Great guys but they need time and d1 postion coaching experience. Probably as much ir more then the players. Again this is on the HC.

Lembo may be available soon. Ball State lost to Georgia State last weekend.

Another way to see this? The App State fans wanted to lynch Satterfield after his second and third seasons on the job. Now in his 4th season App sits at 5-1, 2-0 tied for 1st in the Sun Belt. Plus he didn't have the added disaster of Swepson. The turn around may take several years to take hold, regardless of who the coach is.
That was my glass is half full statement for the day.

Satterfield is in year 3
4-8 7-5 5-1
No where near the train wreck known as Elon Football.
If Skrosky is 16-14 after 30 games we should build a statue in his honor.

On a related note, Skrosky today reiterated that DT was the starter. Although maybe that can be re-evaluated. So that should be fun to watch over the next two weeks of practice. Again.

Re DT, they should give #13 a chance. I thought he ran the best of the three in pre-season scrimmages, and per the roster he was first team all state in NJ. Why not give him a chance? Can't do much worse than zero points.
The thing that bugs me the most about Skrosky is he makes no adjustments and shows no ability / willingness to make changes. Last year we saw the same plays over an over all season with the same personnel. This year we are seeing the same plays again and again with no change in results. Why not change things around? Go back to some of the older WR's as has been stated by other posters. Give the next QB a chance. Whatever just change things up. What he is putting on the field is pathetic. Not only are we losing, but we see the same crap week in and out. It's boring to watch.

I've heard that pearsall is fully cleared and able to play. The coaches have him slated as the #5 tight end behind Warrick Duprey Tate and Arrington.

Our TE group is talented, experienced and very under utilized.

Agree also. Duprey has stepped up nicely coming off a shoulder injury from last year where he missed the season. alittle disappointed with warricks play so far this year. This position does get underutilized as far as Tate and pearsall.
